WHO WE ARE

BELLATRIX is a London born accessory brand specialising in floral hair clips, all lovingly hand made in the UK by a small team of women.

Drawing inspiration from Flamenco to Frida Kahlo, our handcrafted creations are designed to be both playful and practical. For all ages and occasions, we aim to make your cheveux look chic - even on its most unruly days.

We believe elegance can be effortless. So, whether you’re dancing in the club or bathing in the tub - or whenever things just get a little steamy - simply twist and fold your hair up in a BELLATRIX clip, and voilà! 

HOW IT STARTED

The idea for BELLATRIX was conceived in 2023 when our founder purchased a flamenco hair clip from a market in Seville.

When that beloved hair clip finally fell apart, and a worthy replacement was impossible to find, she decided to make her own.

What began as a creative side project making hair clips for herself and friends gradually blossomed into a trend.

BELLATRIX was launched as a business in 2024 while our founder completed her studies in London.

WHERE IT'S GOING

Today BELLATRIX is a homegrown brand rooted in passion and playfulness, infused with the sprit of Flamenco and a little spice for life.

With a deep reverence for the natural world, we value beauty, sensuality and craftsmanship that merges artistry with responsibility.

Our goal is to create lasting pieces that feel as good as they look. We are working towards manufacturing all our hair clips in the UK using recycled materials in collaboration with our partners at RELIC PLASTIC.
